Wow it’s been a couple of months since i last blogged…i’m just glad it hasn’t been a couple of years lol sooo updates on my life:
My dad’s friend passed away right before thanksgiving on November 19th, 2010. That makes it less than 6 months after his diagnosis. The man didn’t even have a fighting chance. The funeral was open casket and the man i saw in it did not resemble him in any way. Later on my dad told me that he actually looked better in the casket than he did right before he died. It’s unimaginable how extensively chemo ravages your body and mind. And as usual my dad was being the “strong unemotional chinese man”, helping out with the funeral arrangements and other details of it without stopping even once. But i knew there was a lot going through his mind when i saw him standing over the casket for five minutes just staring at his friend. I really do hope the man is in a better place now. RIP Uncle Lok.
On a lighter note, i have made four cakes to celebrate life in the past couple of months. Three for friends and one for my mom. It’s kind of ridiculous how many of my friends and family have birthdays in October. There is no way i can ever make a cake for everyone because i’d basically be spending every day that month making a cake and although i would love doing that i just don’t have the time =P. but here are some pictures of the cakes:

And school? Well school always sucks and every body knows that so i’ll just leave to your imagination how badly this piece of shit school called St. John’s has gone to hell. Also i’d like to think that school is completely separate from my real life…lol
IT’S GOING TO BE CHRISTMAS IN T-MINUS 3 DAYS!!!! I’m going to make a gingerbread house for the family Christmas party this year so i’ll be posting again soon to let you know how it goes. Most likely disasterous…lol
